Who We Are
Our birth in the water well industry began in the early 1800's, when my Great Grandfather, Omie De La Grange, son of a building Contractor drilled on a frequent basis in Stone Quarries to test the quality of rock for building material. Some of the test holes that Omie drilled were filled with water from the surrounding fractured rock. Omie would then sell the Land Owner a hand operated pump to remove some of the water for livestock. The Land Owner's found the product useful and began to frequent Omie's services. This seemed to be a great idea and spawned our family into the Water Well Drilling business. Omie moved from his beginnings in West Virginia after the Civil War and began his water well business in the town of Selma, California, where Omie is credited as having drilled a pioneering Water Well, called an Open Bottom Well, back on December 12, 1894. This particular type of inovative Water Well Construction, did not exist before Omie De La Grange had sucessfully implemented it. This method was a boon to the area at that time and firmly seated the De La Grange Family in the Water Well Drilling business. The families inovation continues to this day with the implementation of the Dual Rotary Drill System. Let us see what it can do for you!
